TEACHING ON THE FEASTS OF THE LORD!!!
Have you ever wondered what all the feast in the Old Testament are about? Were they quaint traditions that God told the Jews to do, or are they much more? I will be teaching on all of the Feasts of the Lord: Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Weeks, Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Tabernacles.
The Hebrew word for feasts is “moed” and means appointment, or appointed times. They are not just times of celebration; they are God’s appointments with mankind. Not only that, but they are called “holy convocations.” The Hebrew word for convocation means rehearsals. The feasts are rehearsals of things to come. What are they rehearsals for? What is God’s people supposed to be rehearsing for?
As you listen to these messages, you will find out that they are much more than Jewish traditions. They are centered around the Lord Jesus Christ, and are central to all prophecy in the Bible. The Spring Feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, and Weeks) were all fulfilled during Jesus’ first coming. They were fulfilled to the day and the hour. There are too many parallels to be coincidental, and nothing is an accident with God. God planned them this way. Not only that, but to the surprise of many, the Fall Feasts (Trumpets, Atonement, and Tabernacles) will be fulfilled during Christ’s second coming! I encourage you to “lean not on thine own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5), and learn what the Feasts of the Lord are about!
