Did you know that fifty years ago, the worst discipline problem a teacher had to worry about was chewing gum and cheating? Today, there are gangs, drugs, physical attacks on teachers, aggressive bullying to children, disrespect, and the list could go on and on. But not only in schools but also in society in general. Why is that?
I firmly believe it is because we are raising the next generation without a solid belief in God and absolute truth. Thus, we are teaching them that there is no absolute authority in this world. So what can be done? You and I can reverse this, by teaching our children about God and His Truth.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Many a parent will put a lot of effort and years in the secular education of their children, so they can be prepared for life, college, and a career. But do we put an equal effort or any effort at all in their spiritual and moral training? As a church, we want to assist you in every way that we can. We have graded Sunday Schools, in which we use tried-and-true curriculum. We have an Anchor Club (Sort of like AWANA). We have a BUS Ministry, that if you have to work on Sundays or just want to send your children, we have a van to pick up your children on Sundays and bring them home afterwards, totally free of charge. We want to be a blessing to you and your children, so please consider letting us.
