What We Believe:
1. We believe the Bible is the verbal and plenary inspired Word of God, and that it is the supreme, infallible authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
THE TRINITY
2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1; John 10:30; John 4:24)
JESUS CHRIST
3. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 10:33) His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23); His shed blood for our atonement (Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:14); His vicarious death (Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21); His bodily resurrection (John 11:25); His ascension into Heaven (Acts 1:11; Hebrews 1:3); His intercessory ministry for the saints (Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 John 2:1-2); His imminent pre-tribulational return to meet the saints in the air (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; 1 Corinthians 15:23, 51, 52); and His personal, visible return to the earth with His saints, following the Great Tribulation, to establish His millenial Kingdom on earth according to His promise (John 14:3; Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16).
THE HOLY SPIRIT
4. We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, Who came forth from God to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8); making individuals children of God through the new birth (John 1:12; 1 Corinthians 12:13); assuring them of Heaven (Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:30); and by His indwelling, enabling Christians to live a Godly life (1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19-20; Ephesians 5:18).
SATAN
5. We believe that Satan is a person, the enemy of God and man, who seeks unlawful dominion through the overthrow of God's rule (Genesis 3:14; Acts 5:2-3; Job 1:6-7; Isaiah 14:12-14).
HELL
6. We believe that Hell is a literal place created for the eternal, conscious punishment of the devil and his angels and for all the unsaved and that Hell wil one day be put in the Lake of Fire (Matthew 10:28; 25:41; Luke 16:23; Revelation 20:15).
MAN
7. We believe that man was created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27); that he fell and became a sinner by nature and choice, thus being alienated from God (Romans 3:23; 5:12-14; 6:23); and that for salvation, Holy Spirit regeneration is absolutely essential (1 Corinthians 12:13).
SALVATION
8. We believe that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ as payment for their sins (John 3:16, 18, 36; 5:24, Romans 10:9-10, 13; Acts 13:38-39).
PRESERVATION
9. We believe in the preservation of all believers unto salvation through the power and love of the triune God at the moment of salvation (John 10:27-30; Romans 8:29-30; 1 Peter 1:3-5; Jude 24).
THE LOCAL CHURCH
10. We believe that a New Testament Church is an organized body of believers practicing Scriptural ordinances and actively engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission, supported by the tithes of its members (1 Corinthians 16:2; Hebrews 7:8; Acts 2:41-42, 47; Matthew 28:19-20). We do not endorse wicked unscriptural methods of financing the church, such as bazaars, rummage sales, and other schemes which bring dishonor upon the church.
BAPTISM
11. We believe that baptism is a Scriptural ordinance requiring immersion (Acts 8:38-39) of believers only (Acts 2:41), to be administered by a New Testament Church (Romans 6:3-5; Matthew 3:15-16); and that is a solemn emblem of our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, with its effect in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life (Colossians 2:12).
LORD'S SUPPER
12. We believe that the Lord's Supper is a Scriptural ordinance to be administered by the church commemorating the Lord's death and symbolizing the believer's nourishment and sustenance by the Lord Jesus Christ. It is to be partaken of by obedient Christians of like faith after solemn self-examination (1 Corinthians 11:23-29).
RESURRECTION
13. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the saved unto the resurrection of life, and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation (John 5:28-29).
AUTONOMY
14. We believe in the autonomy of the local church, being free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority (Ephesians 5:24-27); while recognizing the need and the privilege of cooperation with other local churches of like faith and practice for edification, missionary activity, and fellowship.
CIVIL GOVERNMENT
15. We believe that civil government is ordained of God, and while waiting for Christ's return we should pray for those in authority and submit to their decrees, when such are not contrary to the revealed will of our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 13:1-7; Titus 3:1; 1 Peter 2:13-14; 1 Timothy 2:1-4).
ISRAEL
16. We believe that Israel is God's chosen nation (Exodus 6:7; Numbers 23:9; Deuteronomy 4:37; 2 Samuel 7:23; Psalm 135:4; Isaiah 43:1; 45:4); and that as such they have been and will again be exalted (Deuteronomy 26:19; 28;1, 13; 32:13; 33:29; Isaiah 14:2; 45:14; 49:23; 60:14). Because of historical and prophetical relationship, and based upon the principle of Genesis 12:3, we declare our unconditional support of Israel.
