We had the opportunity to honor two dedicated servants of God. Bob & Zoe Grotzke have served God through the Ruby Valley Baptist Church for over 45 years! Bro. Bob came to Sheridan in 1963. He was called to pastor this church and did so until his health forced him to step down in 1986. Since then, he and his wife Zoe have faithfully continued to serve God here. On December 8th, they will be moving away from us. We will most certainly miss them and the spirit they have shown over the many years. I know of very few who exemplify the love of God the way that this couple does.
One prayer I had this week is that others would learn from their example of faithfulness. This commitment and whole-hearted dedication is so rarely seen any more. I want to be counted as faithful as Bob & Zoe have been. I have just been reading in John, and Jesus was telling how He could nothing but what he seeth the Father do, and that He sought not His own will, but the will of His Father. This has been the example of Bob & Zoe Grotzke for over 45 years: not seeking their own will, but God's will alone. May each and every one of us seek not our own will, but the will of our heavenly Father!

Ruby Valley Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental, Bible-
believing baptist church in Sheridan, Montana. Located in the beautiful Ruby Valley, we are surrounded by gorgeous mountains everywhere you look! We are associated with the Intermountain Baptist Fellowship and the New Testament Association of Independent Baptist Churches. RVBC was started on July 19, 1961. Our current pastor, Eric Brown, has shepherded us since May 2007!
Our goal is to win the lost to Christ and help Christians to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible provides the sole authority for our faith and practice. Our teaching and preaching of God's Word is practical for people of all ages and walks of life.
We support several missionaries from around the world. We believe it is our responsibility to preach the gospel to every creature. It is our strongest desire to make sure everyone that comes in our door has the opportunity to receive Jesus Christ as their personal Savior!
